H2S Testing

ON-SITE SUPERVISIONS

H2S Facilities

Our on-site supervisors are comprehensively trained in H2S operations and rescue. While on-site they provide expert risk analysis, training, equipment familiarization and refreshers and man-down drills. They assist operation’s teams in ensuring all risks are mitigated, provide H2S analysis, and are present, working alongside your team. They are available 24/7, and can respond to an emergency requiring supervision at any time.

Confined Space Supervisors / Rescue Teams

Our team is equipped to help with your

confined space oversight. They can operate in a supervisory or attendant capacity and are experts at assisting with risk management, rescue plans, and work planning. We have equipment to monitor the space, provide communications equipment, and ensure permits are properly completed and personnel are prepared prior to entering the space. We also verify that permits and JSAs are valid and operations follow procedures while performing work.

Excavation and Trenching Operations

Underground work where workers must enter the excavation is extremely hazardous.

H2S TESTING

Hydrogen Sulfide presence in crude oil and natural gas creates a variety of facility integrity and personnel risk concerns. Our team performs initial and scheduled testing to verify levels (in ppm) and ensure your operations are in compliance with federal and local standards. Our electronic detection and analog detection devices are calibrated prior to each test, and our data is automatically reported to our secure cloud for immediate sharing. Never be in the dark about your facilities hydrogen sulfide levels, and be proactive about mitigating risks and preventative maintenance.

BENZENE TESTING

Benzene is a known carcinogen and levels can vary drastically from location to location. We perform limited or comprehensive analysis using summa canisters, personal badges and/or PIDs. This gives a map of actual exposure, providing data that helps you make better decisions regarding employee health. Our engineering team verifies the data and assists in mitigating regulatory requirements by giving real information about your facilities.

FACILITY & SITE INSPECTIONS

Quality assurance in oil & gas can be challenging. We simplify the process by auditing facilities for safety requirements, corrosion, equipment performance, testing safety devices, inspecting and installing fall protection, and performing Audio, Visual and Olfactory (AVO) inspections. Our team is experienced in production facilities and can advise in maintenance planning.

STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLANS (SWPPP)

A Storm water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is a site-specific document that identifies potential sources of storm water pollution and lays out control measures to reduce or eliminate potential risk to water sources. It also identifies procedures to comply with specific permit conditions. The plans are designed to prevent risk to surface water, groundwater, sediment management, and are designed to prevent negative impacts to downstream water by controlling volumes of storm water runoff.

WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

Managing waste is a complex process. Our company provides state of the art data collection and storage solutions that simplifies the process considerably. We assist with document creation, electronic submittal, and cloud storage. Our system flags inconsistent data that can result in extremely expensive fines and fees, and prevents non-compliant recording.

RADIATION SAFETY PROGRAMS (NORM/TENORM)

As the oil & gas industry matures, facilities present rising levels of NORM and TeNORM. Compliance with these requirements can be overwhelming, costly, and cumbersome.

Basin Safety assists operations by:

⦁ Creating NORM / TeNORM Compliant Programs

⦁ Providing / Facilitating Training (RSO / Supervisors / Operations)

⦁ Service Provider Procurement

⦁ Disposal Management

⦁ Reporting Requirements

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

Waste tracking and volumetrics can be extremely time consuming. We have established relationships with qualified aerial vehicle operators and our electronic forms management systems that make this process simple. Utilize our technology to document daily material use and spreading, verify job progress, and ensure that documentation and invoicing is accurate and timely.
